Arrivals:

Jonathan Calleri: the 20-year old forward signed for three years, in exchange for 10 million pesos (USD 1.1 million, approximately). In All Boys, he played 30 matches and scored 6 goals.

Gonzalo Castellani: Boca bought 50% of his economic rights in USD 2 million. The 26-year old playmaker was one of the best football players of Godoy Cruz’s during the last two seasons. Before that, he had an experience in Villarreal (Spain).

Federico Carrizo: Boca purchased 60% of his economic rights from Rosario Central making a total of USD 2.7 million. The 23-year old can play in both sides of the midfield. “Pachi” provides both mobility and freshness in attack. In the last season he scored four goals.

Marcelo Meli: Boca bought from Colón the 50% of his economic rights in exchange for USD 750.000 and Cristian Pavon as a loan for six months. He plays as central midfielder, but he also can move to the right side or the defense.

Andrés Chávez: Boca purchased from Banfield the 50% of his economic rights in USD 2.5 million. The 23-year old striker contributed greatly to Banfield’s promotion to First Division, scoring 16 goals in 36 matches.

José Fuenzalida: Boca bought from Colo Colo (Chile) the 40% of his economic rights in USD 400.000. The 29-year old was part of Chile’s team in the last World Cup. His natural position is right midfielder but he also can play as defender or wing.

Mariano Echeverría: Boca signed a contract with him as free agent. The 33-year old defender played in Arsenal de Sarandí in the last season. He is tall (1.92 m) and has a good headshot in both areas.

Cristian Pavón: The young forward came from Talleres de Córdoba, in exchange for 14 million pesos (USD 1.6 millon, approximately). Cristian was part of Meli’s negotiation and he will play in Colón de Santa Fe for the next six months.

Lisandro Magallán (End of loan): The 20-year old, who played on a loan in Rosario Central in the last season, will be a great alternative for Bianchi. He has already played in 11 official matches with Boca’s t-shirt in 2013.

Departures:

Juan Román Riquelme: The captain and emblem of Boca Juniors did not reach an agreement with the leadership and he will continue his career in Argentinos Juniors. The team have the difficult work to substitute him.

Riquelme has the record with most matches played in Boca’s stadium. He won 11 titles and scored 92 goals. He is one of the most important idols of the club.

Juan Sánchez Miño: The skillful midfielder signed with Torino (Italy), in exchange for 3.2 million euros (USD 4.3 million, approximately). He played 100 matches in Boca and won 2 titles.

Lucas Viatri: The striker signed with Shanghai Shenhua (China), in exchange for USD 3 million. His best moment in the club was in 2008, when he replaced Palermo in the Apertura 2008. Viatri scored 31 goals in 133 matches and won 4 titles in Boca.
