Boca Juniors lost 2-0 against Huracán in San Juan and was eliminated from the Argentinian Cup in the sixteenth-finals.
It was a terrible night for Boca in their debut. The performance of the team coached by Carlos Bianchi was poor. They did not create clear chances on goal and made a lot of errors in defense.
Fernando Gago tried with two longshots, however it was not the right way to beat Marcos Díaz, the goalkeeper’s rival. Jonathan Calleri had another possibility, though he executed badly.
Huracán surprised at the beginning of the second half. In the 11th minute, Ramón Ábila took advantage of a defensive inattention and, face to face with Agustín Orion, he scored. Federico Mancinelli sealed the game with a header. Daniel “Cata” Díaz lost him and Orion did not react.

The best of Boca was Federico Carrizo, one of the players for reinforcement. The midfielder provided mobility and freshness, but he did not find other teammates to generate football “association”. Also, he had a chance to score, but the shot was deflected.
