A great reaction

Boca Juniors and Lanús tied 2-2 in the match before last of the Torneo de Transición. The “Xeneize” appeared to be asleep on the pitch and Lanús broke the deadlock before the first minute. Lautaro Acosta received a long pass, pulled off his mark on speed and scored to the left of the goal. In the first half, Boca’s performance was similar to the first matches of the semester; no connection between players and unwillingness. To make matters worse, the local team made another goal on the 43^rd minute; once again, Acosta finished an excellent action. However, Fuenzalida’s header and the shot of Carrizo were not accurate. Lanús took advantage of Xeneize’s going forward to counterattack. Diego González could kill off the game, but Orion reacted perfectly. On the 74^th minute, Boca had his prize. Assisted by Jonathan Calleri, Emanuel Insúa bombed Agustín Marchesín and scored. Later on, Lanús responded; after a defensive mistake, Silvio Romero crashed the ball into the left goalpost and wasted an excellent chance. In the last action of the match, the “Xeneize” tied. Luciano Acosta sped up and centred to Calleri, who beat Marchesín with a great right shot. Boca’s next match will be on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. against Gimnasia de La Plata at the Bombonera, for the last game of the Torneo de Transición.
